I found MJC Passive Fire door Ltd. after my insurers asked me to source a company to fix my door. I have been really pleased with the service provided by Mike and the company. From the initial fire door assessment to providing the quote, from booking in the job to the install, they have been excellent with communication, guidance and general helpfulness.  Especially when it came to conveying everything through the insurers. At the end of the job, when snags arose they were more than happy to remedy the situation quickly. Our community landlord required us to replace our flat door with a fire-rated door after it failed a fire safety inspection. Finding a company that fit our budget and met all the landlord’s strict requirements was extremely challenging. After 18 months of searching, trial, and error, we finally found MJC—and we couldn’t be happier. Mike’s knowledge of fire doors and the entire compliance process is extensive and fully up to date with all current regulations. He communicates very clearly and explains everything in great detail, which made the whole process much less stressful. I contacted Mike at MJC in desperate need of internal works to be completed, to be able to sell my property. He came to visit quickly and work started within a few weeks. I wasn’t sure what we needed for building regs, but he was able to tell me and I was relieved to be able to pass the job over to someone who knew what they were doing, right down to the 3mm 🤯. The guys are super friendly, I felt comfortable enough to leave them in my home when I wasn’t in and Alex did a good job of tidying up everyday. I would highly recommend MJC, they gave us a reasonable quote, not capitalising on my desperation to have fire doors fitted. They clearly just wanted to help as well as do the job.
